I’m a financial journalist for Bloomberg – you can see my stories here:

Since joining in June 2016, I’ve worked on the Corporate Finance and Brexit beats.

On Corporate Finance, I wrote an exclusive about the companies tempting bond buyers ahead of the Brexit vote. I’ve also written exclusives on the record activity in the corporate bond market in the traditionally slow summer months and the first issuance of a risky form of debt in the insurance market.

On Brexit, I was on the breaking news team covering the Conservative Party election and Theresa May becoming Prime Minister. I reported on the response of the UK Treasury to the Brexit vote, while also writing about the Labour Party’s leadership election.

As an intern in the summer of 2015, I worked on the UK Government and Companies teams. On Government, highlights included a long feature on the rise of Jeremy Corbyn, Barack Obama‘s intervention in the EU referendum debate and a quirky story about Greece‘s extra £1m of debt – because of unpaid London congestion charges.

On Companies,  I interviewed CEOs of FTSE 100 and FTSE 250 companies, built sources with sector analysts and wrote copy on various industries, including media, construction and retail.
